Audi is preparing to release a facelifted version of the Audi Q3, and judging by this newest spy shot, it’s set to be a minor update.
As with the recently revised A7, the most popular external tweaks will be to the bumpers and the headlights. There will be changes inside, too, focusing around the infotainment set-up. The Q3 currently uses an old system controlled through a small rotary selector mounted in the centre console. The new Q3 will feature the large touch-sensitive selector that has been mounted between the front seats on recent Audis.

Under the bonnet, the 175bhp 2.0 TDI is set to be replaced by the new 187bhp engine, which could wear the ‘ultra’ badge. The Q3 will be unveiled at the Paris motor show in October, with prices starting at £24,000.
Audi RS Q3
The Audi RS Q3 hasn’t even been on sale for 12 months yet, but already the brand is working on a facelift – and our spies have caught the car on test.
Initial changes are challenging to make out due to the comprehensive camouflage, but we can expect to see restyled front and rear bumpers along with subtly tweaked head and tail-lights. Although we have no images of the interior, we could see the 12.3-inch virtual cockpit TFT binnacle that debuted on the new TT. Audi has previously stated it will reserve this feature exclusively for its performance models – and the RS Q3 certainly meets the criteria.
Under the bonnet, the 306bhp 2.5-litre five-cylinder TFSI engine will remain, as will quattro all-wheel drive. The RS Q3 is expected to launch alongside the facelifted Q3 range next year.
